What is NAD+?
NAD+ is Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide. NAD+ is an essential coenzyme in the body that regulates cellular energy metabolism and mitochondrial function. The mitochondria are the powerhouse of the cell where energy is made and controlled. We now understand that mitochondrial health equals overall health.
Higher NAD+ levels result in more efficient gene transcription, energy regulation, DNA repair, gene expression, and cell signaling. NAD+ levels may be a pivotal process for cardiovascular health, weight management, anti-aging, cognitive function, and neuroprotection. NAD+ is the most important cellular co-factor for mitochondrial performance and energy.

Brain Restoration Therapy with NAD+
A 10 day process to support reduced cravings & withdrawal
Our intensive outpatient detox program is a multi-day program where patients receive daily intravenous infusions of vitamin coenzymes in addition to standard-of-care medications that manage withdrawal symptoms.
We use NAD to assist in this detox process but also use standard of care medications as medically necessary. Dr. Ken Starr and our office RN supervise this process.
A typical course of treatment lasts 5-15 days.
